Partnering with Scott Francis to create Topia was one of the best decisions we made. Kris and I don't have a design background, but we had a clear vision of the experience we wanted to create and how we wanted our guests to feel. Scott took that vision and translated it into an incredible space that embodies everything we hoped for. From the start, he encouraged us to explore different ideas, making us feel like co-creators in this journey. His collaborative spirit and ability to see our dreams come to life made the entire process truly wonderful. The final result isn't just a retreat center; it's a manifestation of our shared passion, and we couldn't have done it without Scott's expertise and creativity. Topia truly reflects our heart and soul, and Scott helped make that possible.

The science of how architecture impacts our brain is called "neuroarchitecture," which studies how the design elements of a built environment, like spatial layout, natural light, and color schemes, directly influence our emotions, thoughts, and cognitive functions through neurological processes, essentially suggesting that our surroundings can significantly affect our brain activity and our wellbeing.
